Ghosts and Goblins

I was going to wait and do this post until actual Halloween, but I changed my mind because I can. :) And MAYBE...just maybe someone is looking for costume ideas and will find some inspiration here.

Anyways...in the spirit of Halloween...here are some of the coolest costumes I've seen.

Freakin' Baby Carlos. Love it. (From the Hangover)

This is epic. (Spiderman)

Too adorable for words. Mario and Luigi.

A Big Daddy from BioShock. My favorite game.

Freakin' Army Men. (Photo source)

I don't know if I'd wanna be in this getup all evening, so this dude gets 1,234,723 points from me.

Just plain funny.

Recognize this guy?

Wall-E. Eeeeva. Love it.

Of course, Master Chief from Halo.

I don't really know about the shoes, but the Pink Ranger costume is sweet.

5 Things That Drive Me Crazy: Bar Edition

This one is for you BFF!!

Sloppy drunks spilling beer- It's one thing if you bump into someone and their beer accidentally goes flying down the front of your shirt. It's a whole different story if some idiot is jumping around and acting like a fool and continues to spill his beer...over and over again.

Last Call- Really? Don't make me stop drinking. Please Mr. Bartender. It's just starting to get fun.

Skank Fights- Why oh why do skanky girls insist on picking fights with the girls that aren't regulars? Like they hold it against us because we actually showered that day and got dressed up to go out. It's not my fault that they are bar rats and have sweat pants on.

Old Perverts- I, as much as the next girl, like a guy with confidence. But it is not in the least bit flattering when a man old enough to be your grandfather hits on you.

Techno Music- should have never been invented. I hate walking into a bar and they start playing techno music. You can't dance do it. You can't sing along. Well, at least I can't. Please...just stop the torture.

Poll Dance

Not really. Just a poll. No dancing involved. Unless you wanna...then by all means, dance your heart out.

Anyways...I put up a weekly poll. Over there  See it?

It will change weekly (along with the Giggle Button) so please participate and every Thursday I'll discuss the results. The polls will be quite random and sometimes...ok most of the time, completely useless. But have fun and play along!

Also from now on (hopefully) I will be participating in the Wee Bits of Me Wednesdays with My Leigh Ashley.

Come join us!! She comes up with really great questions! Also, look around her blog if you haven't already...she's awesome.

UPDATE: Thanks to Jess we are going to play another game. Every Tuesday, I will ask a pop culture question. If you are the first to answer, you get to choose who goes on the Giggle Button. BUT there has to be one rule. No blog can be on the button longer than two weeks at a time. It's only fair. But don't let it discourage you from answering because there is no rule about how many times you get to choose!!

I Don't Wanna Grow Up

My 25th birthday is approaching in a couple of months.  It’s getting here sooner than I had hoped/imagined.  Sure, my car insurance will go down, but I feel like I have to finally start acting like an adult.  But then I think, to Hell with it. You are never too old for some things, including but not limited to....
1. Getting up early on a Saturday morning to watch cartoons and eat Fruit Loops.
2. Spending an entire Sunday playing video games instead of cleaning and doing laundry.
3. Asking for toys for Christmas/Birthdays. I totally want this...
4. Baking cookies but eating most of the cookie dough before it ever makes it onto the cookie sheet.
LMAO
5. Sitting at work and reading my favorite blogs instead of actually working.
6. Spending my last $10.00 on Doritos, Gushers, and chocolate.
7. Playing hide and seek in the dark at parties. (Have done this very intoxicated...it makes it so much more fun.)
8. Seriously thinking that my Netflix and WoW accounts are the most important bills to pay.
10. Considering microwavable meals and ‘meals in a box’ as quality dinners and that Boyfriend should be happy that I’m such an excellent cook.
11. Having birthday parties complete with balloons and streamers every year.

12. Buying every freakin’ Disney movie that is released from the vault. (Stupid vault)

What will you never be too old for?

UPDATE: Annah has declared it National Leave-A-Comment Day. You must obey Annah.

Moving is the pits

Alright...once again PLEASE forgive me for my lack of substance for these next couple of weeks. Moving is taking over my existence. I have this huge list of things I need to buy and it keeps on growing but my wallet is not getting any fatter. This starting all over stuff is hard to do!!!

Boyfriend made fun of me because I wrote pickles on the list. He doesn't think pickles are a necessity. Psht. He's so wrong.

I told Boyfriend I was going to make him work the street and then actually had a dream that I was his pimp (pimpette?) and it was horrifying. I decided against the whole idea.

I've been selling a lot of crap on Ebay and thinking of hanging onto some stuff for a possibly giveaway. Do any of you guys collect anything?? I swear I have like 10 collections of COMPLETELY different and random things. I think I have the makings of a hoarder.

And the packing. The packing is freaking killing me. I actually look forward to going to work just to get a break from packing boxes. Boyfriend has so many damn video games and movies that I could seriously start a video rental store. I'm pretty sure we are about finished with that though. The next step is to actually move all the crap to our new place. And then unpack.

I have moved 17 times in my 24 years of existence. I absolutely cannot wait for the day that I can say "I am never moving again!!!!" You would think I would be a professional at this by now. But no, I still lack motivation and I am still waiting for some kind of magic fairy god mother to help me do it without lifting a finger.

But it's going to be worth it. No more crazy roommates. Just Boyfriend, the dog, and me. It's going to be great. (I keep having to repeat these things so that I do not go insane)

Whose idea was this anyways?

P.S. Ya'll have to go here and read this story. Trust me, it's worth it.

Oh, Stop!

Ya'll are making my head swell. Two awards in one week?!? Ok, it was actually two in one day, but I didn't have time to obey all the rules until today.

My totally awesome blogging pal that you all KNOW I adore, Jess, has given me an award.

Ta Da!!!

These rules go a lil' something like this.

1) Thank and link back to the person who gave me this award.
2) Tell everyone 7 things about myself
3) Pass this award to 15 other bloggers
4) Contact the bloggers that I've picked and tell them about the award

Jess thank you so so very much! And everyone stop right now and go check out It's a Big Deal, It Is To Me. I'll wait. Done? Okay. Welcome back.

Seven things about me...

1. I have rolled like every type of vehicle but a car. (Knock on wood) A lawn mower, a four wheeler, a golf cart, and a bicycle, but I'm not sure if that counts as a vehicle.

2. Dylan (Luke Perry) from 90210 was my first crush.

3. My dog's name is Bowen Luke. If you say it fast it sounds like you are saying Bo and Luke. Like from Dukes of Hazzard. Bada Bing!

4. I dabble in genealogy and love looking for abandoned graveyards.

5. I've never ever been on the West Coast. Or even in the Midwest.

6. I am absolutely terrified of the ocean, but I love going to the beach.

7. I get extreme motion sickness.

And 15 blogs that I pass this award on to are...

Canadian Blogger Girl

Confessions of a Conflicted Mean Girl
