I got a package in the mail yesterday. 

(I lost Twilight in the move and HAD to replace it)

I ordered these from Amazon a while ago, mostly to get the new Maximum Ride book (Angel) and they finally came in. I had kinda forgotten about them, but I was sooo excited when I opened them. I'm already halfway finished with Angel.

Ok, that was totally off subject. Anyways.... last week I asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up.

 48% of you wanted to be a teacher and absolutely no one wanted to be an Astronaut. Also, 20% of you actually became what you wanted to and that is awesome! I wanted to be a Zoo Keeper when I was younger. And then a vet. And then a teacher. And then a lawyer. Pretty big change, huh?

According to a survey on Forbes, the number one career choice for 5 year olds is Superhero. Why in the hell didn't I put that on the list??

Anywho, Hed won the Giggle Button trivia this week by correctly answer the question What do Homer Simpson and Elvis have it common? There were a lot of great guesses *cough* Mrs. Hyde *cough* but the answer I was looking for was that they both had a daughter named Lisa Marie. Congrats, Hed! I will probably still do the trivia because I like letting my readers pick who goes on the Giggle Button, but no more polls for now.

Is it just me or did this Thursday take FOREVER to get here? I couldn't even remember what the poll was because it's been so long!

I don't think I've ever had so many votes on a poll before. The actual poll counter says 47, but obviously it cannot count because there were actually 64. I expected the house/land choice to win and that would have been my vote. A lot of you commented that you would want to pay your bills off first and I purposely left that out because I wanted it to be an actual purchase. I, too, would pay off everything before I started buying.

Travel tickets came into a close second and absolutely no one chose plastic surgery. Which makes me happy. Own your hottness :)

And finally, my weekly recommendation. I always struggle with this because I want to list all of you. And I keep a list to make sure that I don't put someone twice. So I was going through my list this morning and was shocked that I haven't recommended one of my favorite blogs yet. I was probably trying to be selfish and keep her all to myself, but alas, I will share.

I was out yesterday with yet another stomach bug! Luckily it only lasted about 24 hours and now I feel fine! Although I woke up this morning only to realize that we had run out of fuel to heat our house. Is it spring yet???

Apparently, not many people watch Heroes, but I still did have some votes on last week's poll. It says currently I have 6, but I could have sworn yesterday it said 10. Oh well. Peter Petrelli and Hiro Nakamura tied for the win. I personally love Peter Petrelli. Not only because he has THE coolest power ever, but because of this.

So I was absent yesterday. Did anybody notice? We got one hell of a snow storm so I stayed home from work. Then I realized that the snow storm has wiped out my internet service. I was stuck inside all day with no internet. But at least I didn't have to work.

Anyways, speaking of having a day off, last week I asked you guys what your idea of weekend fun is.

I'm with the other 54%. I like to stay home and relax. Hanging out with friends came in a close second, which is fun, too. In the summer time, I do more than stay home, but for right now, when I get home on Friday evenings, I like to stay there until Monday morning. I'm a hermit like that.

Good morning Jumble Mashers!

I asked you all last week who you would rather go on a date with and these are the answers I got.

79% of you would rather go on a date with a dumbass than with someone with nasty teeth or someone that is rude to the waiter. No one picked Mr./Ms. Liar Liar Pants on Fire. So yes dumbass, nasty teeth, and rude boy win over liar. I liked that. I cannot stand someone that lies.

I was looking at this article about dating statistics when I came up with that survey. Here are a few that I found interesting.

It is Thursday, right? My days are so confused. I was off work on Monday and am off work again tomorrow, so today actually seems like Friday, but I'm pretty sure it's Thursday. *Sigh*

Giggle, Wiggle and Jiggle

I have a story to share before we get into Giggle, Wiggle, and Jiggle. After reading Steph's blog and some others, I wanted to share with you my tale of learning that Santa wasn't real.

Once upon a time, when I was a young child around the age of eight, I heard a clatter in the kitchen.

I went out to investigate, thinking that maybe I would get to see Santa once and for all.

There, standing in the kitchen was my oldest step brother (about 13 at the time)  with Santa's cookies in his mouth and Santa's milk in his hand. And under the tree were presents that hadn't been there when I'd gone to sleep.

Me: What are you doing?

Brother: Ugh, Santa forgot to eat them.

Me:  Santa never forgets his cookies.

Brother: He, ugh, the reindeer, they... {he pauses and tries to think of something clever. then his face lights up because he's come up with something good.} He doesn't exist.

Me: Who doesn't?

Brother: Santa. The Easter Bunny. The Tooth Fairy. None of them.

Me: And how do you know?

Brother: Because, I'm older and all the older kids know these things.

Me: Did Mom tell you?

Brother: No, my dad did.

Me: Why didn't they tell me?

Brother: Because you are still a baby.

Me: I am not.

Then I proceeded to kick him, take his cookies and go back to bed. When I woke up the next morning, I was furious at my mom for not telling me the truth. Not so much that Santa wasn't real, but because I wasn't let in on the secret. My step brother got in sooooo much trouble.

When did you stop believing in Santa? Do you remember what happened?


Now, getting back to business. Can I change the rules to the award I created? Of course I can. It's my award.

Birthday Giggle, Wiggle and Jiggle

Well, today I am officially 25 years old. I have many mixed emotions about it. I know ya'll are gonna say, "But 25 years old is not old," and I love you all for trying to make me feel better, but I do feel old. Well, not old really, I feel unaccomplished. Like, shouldn't I have and be more by this age? Should I be a wife and mother? Should I own my own home by now? Should I be in a better career by now? Sigh.

On the other hand, its my freakin' birthday and I'm excited. I have no idea what Boyfriend has in store for me when I get home, but I am SUPER excited. And my boss is letting me go home a couple hours early. AND MY SISTER GOT ME A PENGUIN PILLOW PET. (Have I mentioned she is pretty random? Last year I got her a gumball machine for Christmas. She loved it. One year for my birthday she got me mounds of Play-Doh)

It's going to be a good day.

Ok, moving right along. I wanted to know when you all started your Christmas shopping and these are the answers I got.

I cannot believe some of you haven't even started! I would be in panic mode. I usually start right after Thanksgiving because I'm always afraid I'm going to have to go through some extensive situation to get a certain gift and it wouldn't arrive on time for Christmas. So I start early. This year I believe I started the first week of December and I was officially done shopping last week. For those of you that shop all year long or started even earlier than December...you get 10 points that mean absolutely nothing, but Hooray for you!

Another Thursday. Wow. In exactly two weeks I will be 25 years old. Oh and IT.WILL.NOT.STOP.SNOWING!! I really dislike snow.
Anyways...ya'll love Life, huh? Seriously, look...

Boyfriend loves that game. I however am a Monopoly lover! Has anyone played the Monopoly game on XBOX? IT.IS.AWESOME. They also have a game called Family Game Night that has Yahtzee, Life, Mouse Trap, etc. on it. It was pretty cool. Mouse trap kinda sucked, but Life was fun. I would recommend either games to anyone interested.

But speaking of Monopoly...wanna know how much I NEED this?

Really, really, really bad. Just sayin'.

Thank you all so much for voting, as always. Here are the results.

This is out of 27 votes. Even if you follow 1 blog, you are awesome in my book. Do you know how much us blogger's love our followers? Seriously. Followers are to bloggers what alcohol is to an alcoholic. No joke.

I personally follow 96 blogs. It takes me hours...I mean hours, to go through my reading list every day and try to comment. Sometimes, I just don't comment because I have no clue what to say, but I read them...every day. It's my morning routine.

I come in, sit at my desk, open up Blogger, post, then start reading. Usually by noon, I've caught up on everything and start on my actual work. It's my favorite part of the day. Honestly.  Then after I finish my real work, I log back on and check to see if there have been anymore updates. (I think I may be obsessed)

You bloggers make me laugh, cry, rant, ooo and awe first thing in the morning. My commenters make me so happy that no matter what kind of work bullshit I'm putting up with, its ok. I can escape here.

So thank you. Everyone. This Thanksgiving at the dinner table when I'm asked what I'm thankful for, I'm going to say my blogging friends. My grandparents are going to look at me like I've grown two heads and probably think that blogging is some kind of illegal activity. Boyfriend will say, "Gee Thanks." My sisters will start going on and on about which posts they liked the best. My mom will laugh and act like she has a clue.

Yep. I'm going to take over Thanksgiving conversation. No one's thankful speech will beat mine.

Thursday Means Almost Friday

Have I ever told you guys how much I love you? It makes me very happy when I log into my account and see new comments and new followers. It also makes me very happy when you participate in my silly little games. They keep me entertained and that’s all that matters, right? So I'm implementing and new tradition here on Thursdays to show my appreciation. Every Thursday I am going to recommend a new blog and hope that my readers will go and check it out. I sleep on my side but I am so not a bed hog. Most of the time.

Foetus (fetus?)Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. This is the most common sleeping position, adopted by 41% of the 1,000 people who took part in the survey. More than twice as many women as men tend to adopt this position.

LogLying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.

YearnerPeople who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.

SoldierLying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.

FreefallLying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations.

StarfishLying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the centre of attention.
