I started writing a post about my weekend full of Christmas shopping and then I realized that I'm an idiot and most of the people I bought for read my blog. I was going to tell you about the super fabulous deals I got, but then they would know what they are getting. So I deleted it. Now I have no clue what to blog about. So, I'm stealing from the mind of Barb today. Hope she doesn't mind. Her birthday was Saturday, too by the way. Everyone should go over and give her some warm birthday wishes!
Anyways, a while ago she asked her readers what they wanted to hear about. Then, get this, she actually listened to each suggestion and WROTE.ABOUT.IT. What a concept huh? And since I'm kind of at a loss lately, as little has been going on, I am reaching out to all of you.
So let me know what you wanna hear! Unless it's something crazy and something I wouldn't want my parents to read...I will answer each directly.
Until then, enjoy this video of close calls.
P.S. Any one have a flippin' awesome suggestion for a surprise gift for Boyfriend?? He gave me a list and knows exactly what he's getting for Christmas but I want at least one thing to be a surprise. HELP!

Shit Boyfriend Makes Me Watch vol 1
At least once a week, Boyfriend and I have a movie night. Maybe once out of the course of our relationship has he let me pick the movie. Well, after the most recent weird ass movie that he made me watch, I told him I was going to start blogging about the crap he makes me watch.
I'm going to try to do this every Saturday, but it may change from time to time. Then I'll rate the movie on a scale of 1-5, one being meaning the movie sucked big time and 5 meaning that you should stop what you are doing and go rent the damn thing.
The first movie I'm going to tell ya'll about is a 1975 film called One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
A very young Jack Nicholson (who annoys me to no end by the way) plays a man named McMurphy with several assault convictions and thinks that he can get out of doing work in prison by pretending to be insane. So he is sent to a hospital for help and actually fits in pretty well.
He tries to liven up the place and gets a lot of the other patients involved in things like card games and basketball. He also gets them into a lot of trouble. Oh and some of the other patients? Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, and Vincent Schiavelli. I didn't even know it was DeVito until Boyfriend pointed it out because he is just so young in the movie.
Anyways, the head nurse pretty much gets tired of McMurphy's crap and gives him a bunch of shit. So he rebels even more and actually throws a party in the hospital after hours. He sneaks booze, cigarettes and girls through the window and they all participate in the festivities. At one point they start putting alcohol down a patient's feeding tube. It was pretty hilarious.
They all pass out and get caught the next morning and McMurphy gets into some serious trouble. Including electric shock therapy. I wish I could tell you the rest, but it would give away too much. I did actually end up enjoying this movie, which surprised me, since I don't like Jack Nicholson. So my rating?
I couldn't give it full three so I gave 2 3/4. And I kinda really suck at reviews. Sorry for that.

Honesty is the Best Policy
Thanks to the awesome Mrs. Hyde at A Bitch Called Mom, I have won an award!
Honest Scrap. I love it! And if you haven't read Mrs. Hyde's blog, you need to get over there. Run. Don't walk. I'm pretty sure this award was made just for her because she says whatever is on her mind and whatever most of us are thinking and just don't say. So thank you Mrs. Hyde. You made my Friday so much better!
Of course, there are rules. I have to list ten honest things about myself. *Sigh*
1. For a small period of time in my life I was into drugs pretty badly. That was 7 years ago (holy crap) and have been drug free since.
2. The greatest person in my life is my dad.
3. My mother is a pyscho.
4. I hate when people fuss over me. Like after I had my surgery, everyone wanted to come see me. It annoys me to no end.
5. I absolutely cannot stand gay bashing. If I hear a complete stranger gay bash, I say something.
6. I don't like sharing my feelings with anyone other than BFF and Boyfriend. Everyone else gets the happy-go-lucky person they expect.
7. I get very aggravated when a person depends on me. Not that I'm undependable, I just hate the pressure. That's probably why I'm still waiting to have children. I need to get over that.
8. I am completely and utterly afraid of the dark.
9. Out of the 5 long term relationships I've had, Boyfriend is the only one that hasn't cheated on me. (Not to my knowledge and I don't think he ever would. If you are reading this Boyfriend, I will beat you down if you even think about it. :))
10. I asked for Candy Land for Christmas.
I don't know if anyone even cares about any of those things, but there ya go. I followed the rules because I'm honest!
Also there is no rule about passing the award along, but I'm going to anyways. Enjoy my blogging buddies!
It's a Big Deal, It is to me!
Thanks for that info, Aimee!

5 Things That Drive Me Crazy: Shopping Edition
'Tis the season to be shopping! Since some people are already getting into the holiday spirit and started their shopping already, I thought I'd bring to you the reasons why I usually shop online!
Check Out Lines- Why, oh why, do stores have 50 registers but only open 5 of them? Especially during the holidays?!? And the people that go through the express lanes that have way more than 25 items. That is absolutely infuriating. Even the clothing stores usually only have 2 registers running and that really blows when you are just trying to buy the $10.00 scarf you are hoping will suffice as a gift for your aunt.
Poor Customer Service- Because I could go on for days about this, just please refer to this post.
Noisy Shopping Carts- I am one of those people who absolutely cannot pick out a shopping cart without some kind a defect. Sure, the ones that pull to the side are a nuisance. Or the ones that seem to have their brakes on. Or the wobbly ones that make you look drunk while you are pushing them. But the worst ones are the squeaky carts that everyone turns to look at when you come down the isle.
Out of Stock- Ok, so you've got your entire list done and that one thing that you really really really want is completely out of freakin' stock! I tried for three months to buy a black comforter at Wal Mart. They kept saying they were out of stock. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and a couple of other places and NO ONE had a black comforter. Seriously? It's not like I was asking for a comforter with turtles that had wings plastered on it and a nice rainbow back drop. I just wanted black. I ended up ordering the damn thing online. Also, I can never ever find the shoes that I want in my size. I normally settle for shoes that I really don't even like. My size must be popular or I just have shitty luck.
Other Shoppers- I don't care where you go, others shoppers suck. They are in the way. They stop in the middle of the isles to browse instead of scooting over so people can get around them. Their children hide in the clothes racks and scare the shit out of you. The dressing rooms are always full. And if you're anything like me, you wanna get what you need and get the hell out. Other shoppers slow you down.

Thursday Means Almost Friday
Have I ever told you guys how much I love you? It makes me very happy when I log into my account and see new comments and new followers. It also makes me very happy when you participate in my silly little games. They keep me entertained and that’s all that matters, right? So I'm implementing and new tradition here on Thursdays to show my appreciation. Every Thursday I am going to recommend a new blog and hope that my readers will go and check it out. So you will actually get two new recommendations if you click on the Giggle Button, too. How lucky are you?!
Anyways, today I recommend Unexpected Surprises because well, she is awesome and so darn cute. Please stop by and have a look!

The new poll for this week is...
How many blogs do you follow?
My other game, Giggle Button Trivia, was won by Canadian Blogger Girl who answered Who played Batman in the film ‘Batman Forever’ correctly. It was indeed Val Kilmer. Sexy Val Kilmer. Go click on the button. You know you wanna.
It’s almost Friday, guys!

Now, for the poll results, 74% of you chose Facebook as your favorite social network. This was out of 31 votes. Facebook has more than 500 million active users so that comes to no surprise to me. Although, I kinda thought Twitter would take the cake. I really don’t know how to use Twitter. I fake it. I also really liked that 5 of you said that all social networking sites suck. That makes me giggle.

Have you seen the Facebook movie? I haven’t yet, but I heard the story is pretty much a bunch of bullshit and not at all like what really happened. Oh well. Hollywood has always been messing up books made into movies, so they may as well mess up true stories made into movies as well.

Wee Bit Wednesday
{one} do you collect anything? if so, what and how long have you been collecting?
I have a huge collection of turtle figurines. My dad buys me a magnet every time he goes on a trip (once a month) I actually have a magnet for every state. I have every movie that Brad Pitt has ever been in. I also get a shot glass every time I go on a trip.
{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by?
Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. BEST.CLEANING.TOOL.EVER. Especially on bathtubs. It gets that yucky dirty and soap scum right off.
{three} who would you call for bail money?
My dad, without a doubt. I could seriously be locked in a jail cell in Mexico and he'd come get me.
{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid?
The whole not paying bills thing. And not going to work.
{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures.
Sweet Tea Vodka and lemonades. And cookies. OMG I love cookies.
{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping?
I usually start on black Friday. This year, I've already gotten three gifts purchased and wrapped so I'm getting a head start!
{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children?
Every 23rd of December, we stay up all night and wait until it is exactly 12:01 on Christmas Eve and we all pile into the car and go wake my dad up. My dad then lets us open presents and makes us an awesome breakfast. And let me tell you, I am going on 25 years old and Christmas with my dad is AMAZING. It's like being a kid all over again because he hasn't toned it down a bit since we were just little kids.
{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement?
Hmm. I will probably say it will be when I finally finish my Paralegal courses and get my degree, but since that hasn't happened yet, I would probably say landing the job that I have now.
{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself?
I love love love to have my hair done. And get pedicures. I do like manicures, too, but I'm terrible about picking off the nail polish. So I usually don't waste my money. Massages are awesome, too.
{ten} if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called?
I would call it Dinner. Just to confuse people. Your hubby/wifey/bff/boyfriend/girlfriend would be all "Let's go to Dinner." And you'd be like, "Where do you wanna go?" and they'd be like "Dinner." And you'd say, "I understand, but where do you want to go?" And it would just keep going on and on.

Cold Weather Makes Me Crazy
Late post today, eh? I had a bit of an emergency at work and ended up working in another office today...in another state and without my own computer. So I couldn't even check my work email let alone blog. But I'm home now, so here ya go:)
Wanna know how I know that Boyfriend and I are made for each other? Because of conversations like this and this. I know some of you find these pretty funny, so let me bring you the latest, and most likely the weirdest to date.
We had just gone to bed and even though our furnace is right beside the bedroom, the bedroom is the only room in the house that stays ice cold. We crawled into bed and shivering me curled up next to Boyfriend and I said, “Ugh, I wanna crawl inside you.”
Boyfriend: Ew. That’s weird. Like an possum crawls into a cow carcass?
Me: Um, I was thinking more like a joey crawls into a kangaroo pouch. Do possums really crawl into dead cows?
Boyfriend: Yeah, they like that kind of thing. We couldn’t be kangaroos. That would mean that I would be way older than you. And your mother.
Me: I said like kangaroos. Not really kangaroos.
Boyfriend: I can’t box either. I’d be a terrible kangaroo.
Me: I just wanted to get warm; we aren’t really going to be kangaroos.
Boyfriend: Wouldn’t that be fucking awesome if kangaroos had wings?
Me: {Offers a what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you look}
Boyfriend: Seriously, they would fly around and kick all the birds’ asses.
Me: Why not just give birds some arms?
Boyfriend: One arm.
Me: One Hulk Hogan arm.
Boyfriend: That would be so cool. We should be birds.
Me: If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.
Boyfriend: Ugh, I hate that movie (The Notebook). Let’s just be kangaroos.
Then we went to sleep and I swear to you I had a dream that I was locked in an insane asylum. I was trying to prove to them that I wasn’t crazy and that they had to let me out, but every time I’d have a therapy session I would do something crazy like sing Eminem songs at the top of my lungs. Seriously, I can’t make this shit up.
And then this morning we had this conversation.
Me: So what do you wanna do tonight after work?
Boyfriend: Oh, you know what I wanna do. {Raises eyebrows}
Me: Play Rock Band?
Boyfriend: If you don’t mind.
Me: I get the wireless guitar.
Boyfriend: Deal.
Ready for trivia?! Who played Batman in the film 'Batman Forever'?
First to answer chooses who goes on the Giggle Button for the week. Winner will be announced on Thursday.
