Wee Bit Wednesday

{one} if you were granted three wishes, what would they be?

This is hard, because my selfless side says I should choose to feed the hungry and what not, but my selfish side says ...1. Have enough money to live on without having to work and make sure my loved ones could do the same. 2. Be truly happy 3. Live and full and adventurous life.

{two} who is your favorite author?

I have many. I really like James Patterson though.

{three} what crowd were you involved in during high school?

Ok there was the popular/jock kids that everyone loved because they could play sports or because they were dating someone that could play sports. Then there was the next group down that were just popular because they were rich. Then  down one more tier were the kids that were popular because they were awesome...that's where I was. Obviously. :)

{four} what is your favorite thing to do when you have time to yourself?

Blog in all honesty. If not blogging, playing video games or reading.

{five} do you have any hidden talents?

I don't think so. My older sister is good at EVERYTHING. And it makes me angry. Anything she tries, she's awesome at it. Me? I can't do much. I play a little music on the bass or guitar, but I wouldn't say its a talent because I kinda suck at it. I do love it though.

{six} can you fake any accents?

No. Actually I don't know that I've really tried. And it would be weird if I tried now because I'm at work. People would look at me funny. I'm sure of that.
{seven} have you ever been mentioned in the newspaper?

Yeah, I won an excellence in writing contest once and they put my picture in the paper.

{eight} have you ever been arrested?

Oh no. Dad would KILL ME.

{nine} what is your favorite job you’ve had?

The one I have now. Pretty much a paralegal for a coal company although I'm still working on getting my Associates Degree. So technically, I'm an Administrative Assistant right now.
{ten} do you have any scars?

Yeah, I have three scars from my gallbladder surgery. One on my arm from a bottle rocket gone rouge. And one on my foot from falling in a ditch when I was drunk.

Is it bad that I just answered selfishly and didn't think twice about saving the hungry children in the world? Oh well... haha

Yah I am pretty talentless. It's actually sad. I think it has to do with the fact that I have a horrible ability to follow-through with anything. Actually I thought of my awesome skill... procrastination. I rock at that.

And yes, Vada is back to normal for the most part. She can't meow becuase she likely had tubes down her throat, so when she tries it's very raspy sounding. Her wound looks amazing... I had a cat in high school and I remember it being so yucky, but this I can look at without throwing up. She is overdoing everything, jumping, running, playing... eating (already!). I just want her to sleep and it to be 10 days from now with the sutures still intact.

And yes boys go home the same day, they have a simple procedure, where as the ladies have their insides removed.

I thought about people in other parts of the world, illnesses etc... but then decided its a wee bit of me so that would defeat the point.

I'm a middle child too even though I'm number 3 out of 4 and my sister is the eldest she is amazing at everything so I know what your getting at. I'm sure your dad will say something completely different about your talent

I just had my gallbladder out a week ago, but I've also had my spleen removed, so my stomach looks like a treasure map with \ scars marking the spot. I love reading your blog!

Very cute answers. "my Dad would kill me" was priceless.

@Amy- LOL It's ok to be selfish sometimes! I can't believe how well she is doing, although I've never owned a female animal so I have no clue what its like to have one fixed. I'm glad to hear that my dog will be back the same day though!

@Bubbles- Very good point about it being Wee Bits of ME. I don't think even Dad can come up with a talent I have. lol.

@Ingrid- Oh how I do NOT envy you. Had mine out in May and I still have problems with it. It took me 6 weeks to even SLIGHTLY recover. Hopefully yours goes better though. Everyone is different.

@Barb- Hahaha, thanks! I'm sure Dad will agree.

Selfish? What's wrong with selfish once in a while?

I'm a James Patterson fan too, especially the Maximum Ride series.

I have a scar on my neck from a tumour, one on my stomach from appendicitis and one on my left thumb from trying to open a ceramic jar and failing dismally!

I haven't been arrested but I have been picked up by the police, when I was about 4 cos I got lost.

Great post :)

I'd really like to do a post answering all of these questions, because they're good ones. However, I'm deep in the midst of finals. Tomorrow is my last day though, YAY!

Loved you answers :)

@Becca- Thank you!! Do you read James Patterson, too? And yea Dad would totally come bail me out and then kill me.

@Lyndy-LOVE the Maximum Ride Series. By fave in my top 5 favorite series of all time. It actually may be #2. And ouch with the scars!

@Jess-Good luck on all of your finals!! I would LOVE to see you answer these!

Look at it this way, if you had enough money so that you and your loved ones could live without working, surely you'd have enough to buy a hungry person a sandwich every now and then. I wrote some other inappropriate stuff, but I had to remember whose blog I was on.

I have gall bladder scars, too! Well, not really cuz the fat is covering them up, but they're in there somewhere.

Mrs Hyde- You are hereby granted the freedom to say whatever your heart desires on my blog! Unless you wanna be really mean to me :)
