Calling all Readers

I started writing a post about my weekend full of Christmas shopping and then I realized that I'm an idiot and most of the people I bought for read my blog. I was going to tell you about the super fabulous deals I got, but then they would know what they are getting. So I deleted it. Now I have no clue what to blog about. So, I'm stealing from the mind of Barb today. Hope she doesn't mind. Her birthday was Saturday, too by the way. Everyone should go over and give her some warm birthday wishes!

Anyways, a while ago she asked her readers what they wanted to hear about. Then, get this, she actually listened to each suggestion and WROTE.ABOUT.IT. What a concept huh? And since I'm kind of at a loss lately, as little has been going on, I am reaching out to all of you.

So let me know what you wanna hear! Unless it's something crazy and something I wouldn't want my parents to read...I will answer each directly.

Until then, enjoy this video of close calls.

P.S. Any one have a flippin' awesome suggestion for a surprise gift for Boyfriend?? He gave me a list and knows exactly what he's getting for Christmas but I want at least one thing to be a surprise. HELP!

Sorry. We don't do gifts because we're both too selfish and lazy to do the shopping. (My legs get tired.)

I would like to hear the best long lost love reunited story ever. I can't help it. I LOVE a good love story. Maybe you could make it Thanksgiving themed to keep with the season. Go on now.

The lady friend and I just started jotting down some ideas for each other last week. It does take a little bit of the surprise out of things, and we'll probably get each other at least 1 thing not on the list. But overall it we are both perfectly fine with giving hints to be sure we're getting things we really want.

Tell us what you were interested in as a child. Favorite memories of childhood. Movies, trips, anything goes.

BTW..I bought a book online. I went into the luck mag site and the store had 4% rebate. On ebates it was 8%. Guess where I went!!!

And thanks for the sweet mention.

Must be a funny old kind of week, because I have noticed that several of the blogs I have read this morning seem to be at a loss what to write about!!
I'm struggling myself, I must admit.

I saw in the most recent issue of Rolling Stone that there is a new Jimi Hendrix box set coming out. I just pre-ordered it for the hubs for Christmas (he's a huge fan). As far was what to write about, I love it when you complain about stuff--you are very funny!

@Becca- Sounds like we are in the same boat.

@FreeFlying- LOL You crack me up. I have typed up the love story and will hopefully post it tomorrow!

@SD- I love knowing that what he gets he's actually going to want, but I also hate that nothing will be a surprise :( I'm thinking I may go with AMC's idea though.

@Barb-You are very welcome. My online shopping is soon to come! I still have like 5 people to buy for and I have to get everything online. Thanks again for the info!

@Thisisme- I think everyone is just so busy that its hard to sit and come up with good blog ideas when the holidays are on the brain.

@AMC-That's a wonderful idea!!! Boyfriend loves Hendrix!! I'll have to make sure he doesn't have everything already, though.

What's your favorite book now, and what's your favorite book from childhood? Why were/are they your favorites? If they're different, what changed?

Also, maybe a memorable dream and what you think it meant, or what you learned from it.

What advice would you give to someone like you who is ten years younger?

That video almost gave me a heart attack...several times! I'm too old for this shit.

Hmmmm...I would like to read about either what you're reading or what you're watching (TV, movies, whatev). Kinda lame, I know.

As far as what to get Boyfriend, you would probably know better than any of us. I know my Hubby's birthday is on Thanksgiving and I'm getting him the Playstation Move with a shooter attachment and Time Crisis Razing Storm. He loves shooter games, especially at an arcade.

And thanks for the comments over on my blog. Makes me feel special. :)

Have you done a post on how you and boyfriend met? I'm a hopeless romantic and I love that stuff.

Also perhaps a "bucket list"? Always fun.
Now I am on a roll, what about a list of holiday destinations?
Surveys are always fun too.
If all else fails, clean out a cupboard and blog about what you find. That can be fun.
Oh well done on the shopping, think this year it will be giftcards all round from me
