I LOVE Today

This has been such an AWESOME day, I just HAD to share it with you guys.

First, instead of actually working today, I got to mess around and put up Christmas decorations at the office. THEN I was told that I could leave early! I got to leave two hours early and don't have to go back until Monday.

So I get home from work and immediately notice that the table is very clean. We usually have mail or at least a couple magazines on the table, but it was bare. Except for a tiny piece of wrapping paper. I swear to you my face lit up like a Christmas tree when I realized that Boyfriend had wrapped presents while I was at work.

I ran into the den (with dog following closely behind, he had no idea what was going on but he was loving running around) and saw that there were a bunch of presents in there. I started going through them and saw that each tag had cute little names written on them.

He knows me too well. All of them say stuff like this and he knew I'd get a kick out of it.

Then I called him and he said that on Christmas Eve he is going to wait until I go to sleep then get up and put all the presents under the tree. So when I wake up, it will be like Santa had been there!

He did say I had to make "Santa" cookies though. But I'm okay with that! I am so freakin' excited!

So then I sit down and turn on the TV. And there it was! The episode of Friends where Brad Pitt guest stars.

Could this day BE any better? (Say in Chandler tone. It's better)

Dad says I should play the lottery. If I win, ya'll are invited to my place.

My husband used to be one of those guys out on Christmas eve at the mall. But he would really make a mission out of finding just the 'right' gift. I miss that. Bruce and my first Christmas I had just gotten laid off 1 week before and the next one we were both laid off and now this one. At least we were in CT for these though and were around our family and my granddaughters. This one is really going to make me cry!!! So I want to hear all about yours to take my mind off of it!!!!! haha you are so darn cute!

@Aimee- I'm glad you appreciate the awesomeness of it all. It is super exciting.

@Mynx-You are very right. He made me promise I wouldn't peak at the packages that UPS keeps delivering and ITS SO DIFFICULT!

@Barb- Awe, you can't cry on Christmas. It's like a rule or something, right? I will tell ya all about my Christmas if you really wanna hear it! I get super duper excited and am a big kid around this time of year. And everyone knows I will not accept a gift unless its wrapped b/c I love the surprise. LOL. My BFF wrapped $20 last year. True story.

Great idea but poorly executed I’m afraid, boyfriend loses a few marks for getting over excited and blurting out his evil master plan to take over Christmas …..He should have kept it a big surprise and put white paint on his shoes, to make it look like Santa had walked in with snow on his boots….Result you would be left wondering if Santa did exists after all and then spend the rest of your life trying to track him down and present him with the bill for cleaning the carpet…..

Chandler tone makes it!

Sounds pretty sweet. I am green with envy. And nausea. Green with both.

;-)

I am totally with Mynx on this.

In Ontario, Canada, you can't find anyone in Home Depot or Canadian Tire to save your soul if you need help. You had best be prepared to sit your ass in the store for 3+ hours if you want some actual help.

But, I also hate being annoyed, too. You should see how angry my dad gets. Like your post, to the power of ten.

Glad you had a good time on the weekend, and thanks for stopping by my blog!

You bet yer butt I put that Hot or Not button up! lol The banana guns photo got approved. I even have a few 1 and 2 ratings! lol...
