Posting Post-Its

I'm going with the post-it notes today because I have a bunch of random thoughts swirling around in my head and I think this is a fun way to get them out! You can find all your post-it note needs here.

Totally need to do post its next week.

Love "The Luckiest". I know it's kinda creepy strange, but it's pretty :) FI and I have a band, I guess.. Tegan and Sara.. they're lesbian twins (not with each other, hah) and all their songs are about break ups. But we see them in concert at least once a year. So.. a little awkward, but not really.

Hooray for Niagara Falls! We went there over the summer (my first time there) and it was AWESOME.

Yes, it's very selfish of you so send the sheets to me, like you obviously sent the snow and ice that you should have gotten! :)

I love post-it notes (obviously!)

My-Boy and I have two songs we consider "ours" for two entirely different reasons.
1. I'd Do Anything by Simple Plan
2. I Can't Hold Back by Survivor

What a great way to spice up randomness. I really enjoyed it.

Now I want to know what you got your Dad too - I need ideas! My beloved FIL's birthday is this weekend. :)

@SD- Thanks and it does help get them out of my head and not make a whole blog posts about sheets. :)

@Steph C- It is creepy isnt it? But the ending just brings it together and makes it so damn cute!

@Krissy- LOL We did get snow and ice....too much in fact! I'm happy to pass it along to everyone actually. My sheets though? I can't part with.

@Sam- Both great songs!

@Bubbles- Thank you!!

@Skippy- I can't tell you on here, because he may read it! LOL. Email me!

@Barb-You are such a sweetheart and I completely love you! :)

that post-it notes thing is such a great idea! Just right for jotting down random thoughts. Great news about your wellness screening results, and I envy you going to Niagara Falls in May. Have a lovely weekend.

Hubs and I keep talking about going to Niagara Falls. One day we'll get there! I guess if we have a song it would be Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young. It's the song we got married to!

The sheets, you have a couch (sofa) don't you?

At the rate of science, everyone is going to live forever.

Niagara, Canadian side or American?

Never heard that song.

No S/O ... (Sad Panda face)

Mwahahaha I'm so happy the rest of north america is suffering what i suffer every winter here in Canada.

I don't hate you, work sucks, and happy birthday jumble dad.

I love Ben Folds but I've never heard that song - so I'll have to listen to it.

Stewart and I's song is Black Betty - don't ask. But I always think our song at our wedding will be Can't Take My Eyes Off of You by Lauryn Hill. When we first moved in together and we had just gotten our cat we came home one day and were making dinner/cleaning up and the song was on the radio and we were blasting it and I was just dancing around the kitchen (slow dancing with my kitty) and thought to myself that life was so great right now and I wanted to remember that moment forever. It's not as special to him because he's a guy... but I'll decide!! hahaha.

Once my husband wrote me a poem and I was so excited and honored-until he told me it was a song. The song happened to be "Luckiest" :)

Our dating song was "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, and one day at work "If You're Not the One" by Daniel Bedingfield came on and I listened to the words and started crying! It really fit us. I walked down the aisle to it :)

If he'd sleep on the floor...as I'd prefer...the sheets wouldn't be an issue! And besides, I got them for you so you have to use them...it's a Dad rule!

Glad your "numbers" came back good...nice to know you'll be around to take care of me when I'm old...like next week :-)

Post it notes are awesome.
My husband and I have a lame song. When we first started dating he would sing Desperado by the Eagles to me at random times, out of the blue. So, that is our song. lol. My hubby and I are weird.

Keep the sheets! The s/o can lay on a towel next to you :)

Yay Niagara Falls! I went there with some friends for Spring Break. It was...an unconventional Spring Break to say the least, but we had fun.

Our song would be "It Feels Like Home to Me" by Chantal Kreviazuk. Others might recognize it as the song in How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days when Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey are about to get it on in the shower. I wanted something off the beaten path. After hearing "God Blessed the Broken Road" at about 6 weddings in a row, I knew I couldn't pick something popular.

@Thisisme-I agree. I love them! And thank you very much!

@AMC- I cannot wait. I went once with Dad when I was younger and it was beautiful.

@Notthehero-I do indeed have a sofa. American side because it will cost us more to get our passports than to stay there. We get snow all the time...nothing new, so you can count on me suffering with you.

@Krissy- I was just seeing if I was being selfish! :) You called me a tease. Heehee.

@Becca-Just click on the link in the last sentence! You'll be making your own in no time! Now share the chocolate.

@Lyndy-Thank you!

@Twilight-Haha, you totally need to start sending him emails in Post It note form. That would be awesome.

@Teresa-Click on the link in last sentence! It's easy!

@AD-LOL I agree!

@Corey- Meeee tooo!!!

@Hed- You are kidding?!?! We are long lost sisters, I believe. I love love love If you're not the one! Such a good song!

@Dad- Yeah um, I'll ask him if he'll start sleeping on the floor. lol.

@Jess-Have you ever heard Luckiest? We are weird as well:) Weird=cool though.

@Sandra-Hahahaha nice.

@Pirate-I love that song! It's so sweet! And yeah for my wedding I definitely want something different.

Love the post-its (on here and in real life)!

As for the sheets, I gave up flannel for my SO. He's my heater now. :-) Oh, and we don't have a "song". We have lots of funny little terms, gestures and inside jokes we use a lot, though.

I know it's not the first time you've done them, but I love the post its. They kick bullet points' ass. Asses? I guess points don't even have asses. So...let's get back to this niagara falls thing. DETAILS PLEASE!
